Do not go chasing after spiritual money
Spiritual money in Ghana
Of recent, the TV and radio stations and the social media space of Ghana are flooded with all kinds of spiritualists promising to solve various problems for people. One of the most common offers these spiritualists present is multiplying or conjuring money. They propose that they can multiply a given amount of money you give them or they offer to conjure a certain amount of money for you if you pay them a certain amount. These services are not offered for free, as expected.
As much as this sounds like an easy route to get out of trouble or to become rich, they very nature of this business poses serious questions. When we take actions, we should think of the effect on others rather than just benefits to us. We should think of the bigger picture, rather than just a narrow spectrum of our existence.
A few questions for those people following quick money witch doctors
1. Imagine every farmer rushed to these magicians for the quick money and stopped farming, where would you get food to buy with the money the magicians give you?
2. Imagine everybody working at the electricity company rushed to the money multipliers and collected money, then abandoned their work because they don’t have to work anymore. Where would you get electricity with the money you collect from these money multipliers?
3. Imagine all the nurses and doctors rushed to spiritualist and collected huge sums of money and stopped going to health facilities because they don’t have to work any longer, where would you get treatment when you are sick, even with all the money you have?
For those who are spiritually inclined,
4. when you go to these conjurers, do they make the money for you for free? Since they can make money so easily, why don’t they make some for themselves and make yours for you for free? They collect your money because they can’t spend the money they conjure. Why? Because the money they conjure is evil.
How you should react to spiritual money
The world is made in such a way that we all have to do some work to compliment one another to make this world habitable. Once one group abandons their work, it’s going to affect everyone. From this mentality, one can conclude that it is not acceptable to go after spiritual money which is not created by work. This kind of action upsets the balance of the world.
My advice to those of you who run after spiritual money is that you should work and depend on God who is all-knowing and all-loving to give you what you need at the time you need it. There’s no need to rush to become rich; it will only birth disaster.
For the spiritually inclined, chasing quick money will lead you to hell.
“For the love of money is the root of all evil. “
